The “Educational Escape Room in Virtual Reality” offers a playful way to teach content from the Water Technology degree program. Using mixed-reality headsets (HoloLens2), guests were able to interact with holograms of technical systems and view work processes (automated step-by-step instructions) directly in their field of vision.
In addition, Innoversa Factory’s 2D-platformer game "Blupp the Waterdrop" was presented. Prof. Gayh uses the game to inspire students to engage with water treatment and resource management as part of workshops and STEM events.
A big thank-you to Prof. Dr. Ulrike Gayh for an exciting day filled with inspiring ideas, stimulating discussions, and feedback on developments for your projects: YIPII and Democratia Aqua Technica.
Visitors enjoyed a day full of information and excitement, immersed themselves in the world of yellow water and greywater, explored AR/VR technologies firsthand, and actively contributed to the development of a game.
