On June 27, 2025, ITAUN and Innoversa Factory will launch a new online conference series focusing on the societal impact of artificial intelligence (AI) and immersive technologies. Participation is free and open to everyone.
In her keynote, Dr. Leila Mekacher, Managing Director of Innoversa Factory GmbH and founder of the social organization Innoversa gUG, provides insights into current developments in virtual and mixed reality, AI-generated learning environments, skill tracking, and the inclusive use of these technologies in education, vocational training, and workforce integration.
The event explores how immersive tools can empower people on the autism spectrum, how digital simulations can open up new avenues for participation, and how technology can offer meaningful solutions to skills shortages. Practical examples such as VR escape rooms, 360° training and AI-supported learning media clearly demonstrate that digital innovation can be inclusive, scalable and socially impactful—when designed with diversity and accessibility in mind.
The conference invites international professionals from research, education, social services, and technology to develop new perspectives on inclusive innovation and discuss the social value of digital solutions together.
