MIMBUS Discover: Experience career guidance in a new way – now in three languages

MIMBUS Discover offers young people a modern, immersive approach to career guidance in a realistic VR environment. Now available in three languages—German, English and French—it allows them to explore 18 exciting career fields through hands-on experiences, discover which skills are in demand and find out which activities best match their individual strengths. This makes career guidance interactive, motivating and future-focused.

The tool is available entirely in German and is suitable for a wide range of educational settings: from schools, vocational schools, vocational colleges, vocational training and rehabilitation centres (BBW/BFW), universities and special education schools to public institutions such as employment agencies, job centres, youth employment agencies, chambers and state institutes, as well as rehabilitation and education providers specialising in inclusion (e.g. autism, ADHD and learning disabilities). Companies, associations, HR development teams, apprenticeship marketing initiatives, and European and international partner programmes such as Erasmus+ and VET initiatives also benefit from the tool.

Occupations and fields such as bricklaying, fiber-optic installation, logistics, façade cladding, poultry preparation, electrical work, carpentry, viticulture, refrigeration technology, cleaning, plumbing, land surveying, assembly-line work, chemistry, elderly care, automotive mechanics, external insulation, and construction safety can currently be explored virtually. In this way, MIMBUS Discover promotes accessible, inclusive, and sustainable career guidance, supports efforts to attract young talent to the skilled trades, industry, and service sectors, and strengthens self-awareness and motivation. Interested parties are invited to get in touch to jointly advance career guidance or educational projects with innovative VR solutions.
