Dr. Leila Mekacher had the pleasure of meeting journalist Andy Vermouth at the TSYP Congress in Tunisia, who wrote an article about her work. Entitled “Technology in the Service of People with Autism: European Success Expands into the Arab World,” the article highlights how innovative technologies, particularly immersive technologies, can support people with autism.
It highlights the success of our Green ASC VET - Metautism project in Europe and outlines my role in expanding these approaches to the Arab world, with the aim of bringing about positive change there as well. It is inspiring to see how technology is helping to break down barriers and improve access to education and support services for people with autism.
