The official opening of the TUMO Center in Mannheim was a significant event that brought together representatives from politics, business, education and wider society, as well as many interested students. Held at the Mafinex Technology Center, the event offered fascinating insights into topics such as digital education and inclusion. Speakers including Christian Specht, Sandra Boser, Pegor Papazian, Heike Bauer and Michael Strauß shared their perspectives on the TUMO Center’s role in promoting equal educational opportunities. TUMO is an innovative educational project for young people aged 12 to 18, covering eight diverse digital learning areas ranging from technology to creativity. Managing Director Dr. Leila Mekacher is delighted about her company Innoversa Factory’s collaboration with Starkmacher e.V. and the team led by Christian Röser, who oversee this exceptional educational program. This cooperation enabled two experts from the Innoversa team and the SRH Vocational Training Center in Neckargemünd to lead workshops in programming and game development. The workshop leaders received their training in Armenia to ensure compliance with the TUMO program’s global standards and content. The Managing Director is proud to build bridges through her roles at the SRH Vocational Training Center in Neckargemünd and in her company, enabling her team and trainees to advance their careers and participate in inspiring networks. Congratulations to Niklas Schmitt and Kai Merkel on their outstanding achievements! She would also like to thank Christian Röser and his team at Starkmacher e.V., who consider Innoversa Factory part of their family, as well as her SRH colleagues Klaus Imhof, Prof. Dr. Ulrike Gayh and Markus Rösch, whose support enriched this special day.
