Innoversa at the ESF Conference of the Hamburg Institute for Vocational Education and Training

The ESF conference offered a diverse programme featuring engaging contributions on inclusion, artificial intelligence and the BANI model, which addresses the challenges facing modern organisations. The central role of digitalisation in vocational education and training was a key focus. During the conference, Dr. Leila Mekacher and her trainee Ann-Kathrin had the opportunity to introduce the workshop participants—including teachers and school leaders—to the fascinating world of virtual reality. Together, they created an unforgettable VR experience. Thanks to the excellent organisation and the provision of numerous VR headsets, participants were able to experiment under optimal conditions. Dr. Mekacher is particularly proud of her trainee, Ann-Kathrin Witt, who handled her first experience as a presenter in front of an adult audience with flying colours. Her performance once again demonstrates that the Innoversa Factory and TEC (BBWN) make a strong team. The breaks and the time following our two-part workshop were used for stimulating discussions about modern educational concepts, new skills, and moral and ethical issues relating to artificial intelligence.
