Innoversa and its partners warmly invite you to the interactive conference “The Other Self – The Immersive Human”. On June 24, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., the Alte Volksbad Mannheim will become a space for dialogue on identity, empathy, and self-efficacy in the digital age.
The central question is: How do immersive technologies such as VR, AR and digital simulations influence our self-image—and how can they foster social participation, connection and healing? Education, integration, therapy and shared experiences are brought into dialogue with innovative technology.
Highlights include the Silent Lab with Jan Kalt, Dr. Marc Reisner and Tom Woschitz, panels on social innovation and participation featuring guests from politics, culture and the social sector, as well as a Cyber-Kränzchen exploring digital spaces for relationships. Participants include Rüdiger Albert, Prof. Dr. Michael Schmidt, Dr. Leila Mekacher, Sabrina Wagenheim and many other experts from research, technology and professional practice.
